Good news for those of us who are fans of music from bands such as U2, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails and The Beatles and want to introduce this music to our children.

I heard some short bits of music provided at the Rockabye Baby! website and two albums that was sent to me – More Lullaby Renditions of The Beatles og Lullaby Renditions of Tool.

I was pleasantly surprised, as they seem to be able to stay in tune (no pun intended) with the soul of the songs whilst changing it radically in order to make it sound just like a lullaby. What they do really works and it is music I would recommend to any music loving parent.

Rockabye Baby! has made 28 lullaby albums until now, with music from bands like U2, Metallica, Rolling Stones and AC/DC.

Meet Norman PhartEphant. He’s an African elephant who was adopted by a US zoo, and the dietary changes has given him some problems with gas…. He farts and he farts a lot!

In how many soft toy stores can you find slow lorises, aya-ayas, armadillos, bald eagles, anteaters, lamas, tapirs and squirrels? My Favourite Animals has a fascinating amount of life like animal soft toys of the more unusual kind.

I’m a big fan of toys with realistic details. As a kid I loved when I could see the same details in my toys as the ones I could see in nature programs on TV. Animal Planet and Discovery gives children an opportunity to learn a lot about nature and animals, as there are more and more programs made for kids, and I would think that along with the increase in knowledge about the animals comes an increase in expectations towards toys. Many nature-loving children will appreciate the opportunity to choose toys with realistic details. I know I would have!
