Capitalist Pig – Blackboard Piggy Bank

The Capitalist Pig Piggy Bank - A Blackboard Piggy BankThe Capitalist Pig is great piggy bank for those who like to make lists. It has a blackboard surface that allows you to write and draw on it to motivate yourself to save money.

You can for instance use its surface to write the amount you’ve saved, the amount left to save and/or what you’re saving for.

The Capitalist Pig comes with 4 sticks of chalk and costs GBP 12.95 at the new web shop Giftlab.

My guess is it’s white chalks, so why not buy a package of colored chalks for the kid as well to increase the fun of saving?

Piggybank or Monsterbank?

big_poppa_moneybox.jpgBig G is a very unusual little piggybank with simple round shapes and several well placed and freshly colored spots. This piggybank is made out of china, the money is put into its mouth, and a plastic stopper underneath its belly allows for easy access to the money in the usual way.

I’m not really sure if it’s a cute little piglet or a bloodthirsty monster, but no matter what I think it looks cool.

Big G is designed by Camilla Prada and can be bought at Soma Gallery.

Gold Piggy Bank

Bank In Form Of A Pig, as this beautiful piggy bank is called, is a part of Harry Allan’s first product series Reality.

In the Reality series Allan borrows existing objects, and does so with precision. This very exclusive piggy bank and the rest of the products in Allan’s Reality series are full of details, like the hair on the little piggy, and organic shapes.

The piggy bank can hold more than 10,000 dollars in bills, but I wouldn’t recommend keeping those amounts in it for a longer period of time!

The gold piggy can be purchased at Where Did You Buy That.
